About the Facility
Brentwood Aged Care on the NSW Central Coast is an 82‑bed home set within Brentwood Village, surrounded by gardens and a tranquil lakeside outlook. The facility offers modern, homely rooms, a dedicated Memory Support Unit and multiple lounges and outdoor spaces for relaxation and social connection.
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our aged care team at Brentwood Aged Care, in a (permanent part‑time) capacity.
About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your work directly supports the health, wellbeing, and dignity of those in our care. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail and pride in your work make a real difference every day.
What You Will Be Doing
- Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning duties
- Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are always met
- Manage waste disposal and restocking of supplies
- Support a safe, tidy, and homely environment for residents and staff
- Follow cleaning schedules and facility procedures
- Work cooperatively with the broader care team
What You Will Bring
- Previous cleaning experience (aged care, healthcare, or commercial cleaning preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (or willingness to learn)
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
